Love the holidays! Lately I've been doing a lot of makeup shopping and figured I'd share some nice products that I've found to be useful. Now I must say that not all of them are budget-friendly and I'm sure you can find alternatives, however, I am willing to put out some money for this because they are well worth it! So let's begin:
Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating foundation primer:

Love it! 5/5
Pros:
- Dries clear
- Lightweight
- Non-oily
- Allows the foundation to not stray
- Allows you to apply foundation on smoother and even
Cons:
- Pricey
- After a few hours if you do not retouch your foundation with some setting powder the T-zone begins to get oily.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer SPF 15:

It's great for winter, not for summer on oily skin 4/5
Pros:
- Dries clear
- Has a velvety feel
- Diminishes the look of large pores
- Has sunscreen protection
- Makes foundation glide on perfectly smooth
- Reduces the look of large pores
Cons:

Other goodies I picked up this month:
I have officially changed foundations! I was using MAC's ProLong Wear Foundation and let's just say that at first the application was even and nice. After a few hours I had a horrible orangey-tint on my face and it was terrible! The foundation would oxidize and turn orange...ugh! I gave the foundation a good 6 months but nothing changed.
So, I changed over to Dior's Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Wear Makeup Foundation (lol that was long!) and I am in love!! I found my perfect shade that suits me even better then the MAC shades, I'm addicted!
Perfect shade, the scent is luxurious, the settling is flawless...I feel like a movie star...better yet like Charlize Theron in that J'adore commercial...fabulous! I J'adore this!
Diorskin Forever Foundation- $47
This is a really nice palette and the colors are to die for! It includes 20 colors, a mirror in one of the folds and some ideas to get you started. Well worth it!
I am definitely in love lately with Smashbox's primers and eyeshadow, however to make sure you get the best color payoff make use to use eyeshadow primer. Urban Decay's primer is definitely at the top of my list and second in place would be NYX cosmetics primer (in white) it makes the colors so much more vibrant.
- If you sweat, skin gets oily
- Pricey
